Max Scoop Pet Services – Terms of Service

Welcome to Max Scoop Pet Services ("we", "our", "us"). By using our pet waste removal services, you ("customer", "client", or "you") agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before scheduling or subscribing to our services.
Services Provided
We provide residential and commercial pet waste removal, including one-time and recurring scooping services. Future services like dog walking or pet sitting, pet check-ins, mobile grooming services, and yard deodorizing will also be offered. Pricing is based on standard yard size (1/4 acre). Larger or more complex properties may incur additional fees.
Customer Responsibilities
Customer agrees to provide access to all areas requiring service.
Pets must be secured during scheduled service times unless otherwise agreed upon.
Yards must be reasonably maintained (grass not excessively tall, free of hazardous debris).
Hazardous conditions (e.g., aggressive animals, sharp debris) must be disclosed in advance.
Scheduling & Access
Regular service dates and times will be communicated in advance.
If we are unable to access the property (locked gates, aggressive dogs, etc.), the visit will be skipped and charges will still apply.
If a return visit is requested, a $5 driving fee may be applied.
In the event of inclement weather or emergencies, we may reschedule service with notice.
Weather Policy
We service in light rain but reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to unsafe conditions such as severe storms, flooding, or extreme heat. Missed service due to weather will typically be resumed the following week. No refunds are issued for weather-related delays.
Holiday Policy
We do not operate on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
If your service falls on one of these holidays, it will be skipped and resumed the following day. No discounts or credits will be issued.
Pricing & Payment
Customers may choose between one-time service or subscription-based recurring service.
We pre-bill monthly on the first day of the billing cycle. Charges will continue automatically until cancellation.
Payments are accepted via Square. If your card declines, service will pause until resolved.
A First-Time Cleaning Fee applies if more than 30 days pass between visits.
One-time cleanings are billed after completion and payment is due within 24 hours.
Unpaid invoices over 14 days past due may result in service suspension or late fees.
Accounts 30+ days overdue may be sent to collections.
Cancellations & Refunds
One-time services may be canceled up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Subscription clients may cancel with 7 days' notice prior to the next billing cycle.
No refunds will be issued for missed cleanings due to lack of access unless we are at fault.
Yard Conditions
We aim to thoroughly clean your yard at every visit. However, excessive leaves, tall grass, or debris may hinder our ability to locate all waste. If these conditions are present, we’ll do our best and return during your next visit to address any missed spots.
Dog Behavior & Safety
We reserve the right to refuse service if an animal shows aggressive behavior or puts our staff at risk. If a dog attack occurs while we are legally on your property, you accept full responsibility under local laws.
Limitation of Liability
Island Scoop Pet Services is not responsible for damage to property caused by unmaintained yards or hidden hazards. While we take every precaution, we are not liable for illness, injury, or incident involving your pets unless due to our proven negligence.
Privacy Policy
We collect only the information needed to schedule and deliver services, including name, email, phone number, address, and service preferences. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Information may be shared only with third-party providers (e.g., payment processors) as needed to perform services.
Revisions
These Terms may be updated periodically without prior notice. Updates will be posted on our website and take effect immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes agreement with the latest version of these Terms.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed under the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate local courts.
